School Site Council

School Site Council (SSC)

The Lincoln School Site Council (SSC) is a group of teachers, parents, administrators, and interested community members who work together to develop and monitor our school's improvement plan. Their primary role is to oversee the academic planning process to ensure that the needs of all students are specifically addressed in the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).

The School Site Council meets five times per year:

Meeting #1: Thursday, September 30, 2021

  • Call for nominations

  • SSC elections

  • Complete SSC training

  • Review SSC roles and responsibilities

  • Review bylaws and revise as needed

Meeting #2: Thursday, October 21, 2021

  • Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy

  • Review and approve School Parent Compact

  • Review School Safety Plan

Meeting #3: Thursday, January 27, 2022

  • Review student achievement data / test results

  • Discuss data analysis and student needs

  • Review current School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA)

Meeting #4: Thursday, March 10, 2022

  • Review Dress Code

  • Review latest student achievement data and needs assessment

  • Establish SPSA writing team and timeline

  • Discuss SPSA revisions for next year

Meeting #5: Thursday, May 12, 2022

  • Review/discuss SPSA and budget for next school year

  • Approve SPSA and budget for next school year
